The Art of Havingness: Expanding Your Capacity to Receive

A few years ago, I worked with a highly successful CEO. On paper, he had everything… wealth, recognition, family, freedom. Yet in conversation he admitted, “I just can’t enjoy it. I feel guilty when I buy things for myself. I push away compliments. Even when opportunities come my way, I find reasons to say no.”

It wasn’t that he didn’t have things. He couldn’t let himself have them.

This is the hidden barrier many of us face. We say we want love, money, peace, freedom, or recognition. But when it actually shows up… we resist. We downplay the compliment. We reject the gift. We self-sabotage the opportunity.

That invisible force has a name: Havingness.

Forgiveness Process

I wrote this process in my journal at 3:08 a.m. on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. You are welcome to use this to release yourself!

BEGIN

I release you from my life.

I allow you to move on from me.

Your lesson is your lesson. I fully accept my lesson, my creation.

I am not a victim. I am a co-creator.

I have at least 50% cause. I attracted you. You could not exist without me.

I allow myself to heal. I allow myself to flow. As I free myself, I also free you. I allow and release you to your own feelings, results, and lessons.

I surrender to universal and unconditional love.

Positive & Negative Processes

A process is a systematic sequence of actions or steps taken in order to achieve a particular end.

If the actions are repeated in order, the outcome will be consistent. If the actions are out of order, the outcome will be inconsistent.

To reverse engineer a process, begin with the outcome and work backward to each step or action until arriving at the beginning.
