GLC-Happy Holidays.001

Dear Valued Friend,

As I sat down to write you this holiday and a year-end message I found myself staring at the flashing cursor on a blank screen… after days of mulling it over, I finally began to type…

No doubt your inbox is similar to mine – flooded with Xmas and holiday messages. Most of them are cookie cutter, standard messages of well wishes.

I want to share something more personal.

2014 never worked out as I planned. In fact, I can’t recall a year that did. Having said that, I am a proponent of envisioning the future, creating plans and then following through on them. What I have found is that no matter how much envisioning and planning I do – the unexpected – surprising – out of the blue – is where the magic is.

If 2014 were set to musical notes, my year was filled with magic punctuated with some rather large challenges. The magic was the sweet reward while the challenges are what brought me the most personal growth.

If I don’t grow from one year to the next, then my future will resemble my past. I don’t like that! This is why personal growth is so important… its how we create different futures for ourselves. And that requires some challenges.

When 2015 brings you challenges (and it will) rather than complain about your lousy luck, try focusing on what you will gain from the experience.

So on that note: may the music of your 2015 be filled with challenges (personal growth) as well as magic that makes life worth living.

May 2015 bring you MAGICAL musical notes!

Warm Regards…
